For vents larger in size, a convenient Flush Mount Adaptor Plate is sold separately. Once installed, simply connect the power adapter and adjust your settings. The booster fan can be turned on or off manually, or it can be set to automatically come on when airflow from your heater or air conditioning system is sensed, increasing airflow up to 85%.     Fan does a good job of cooling down our bedroom. May drop the temperature anywhere from 2 to 4 degrees. Can notice a considerable difference and will drop the temperature easily 4-5 degrees in combination with the ceiling fan.Fan is a little loud but most fans are. I turn ours off at night because it is hard to sleep when it comes on at night.

    This works fairly well. My bedroom is always at least a 10 degree difference than the rest of my house. After putting this in I have noticed a difference, nothing drastic, but at least it will keep the room somewhat cooler. Every little bit helps!

    Installation was a breeze. Just drop it in the opening. It worked as advertised. Problem was the output was less than central system fan. It actually reduced instead of increasing the air flow. If you try one, your house system should have a really low air flow rate at the register for this item to make an improvement.

    I have been using the Flush Mount booster fan for about three weeks, and I have to say I am very impressed with the quality. I was familiar with Suncourt products and trusted the brand, and I’m not disappointed with my purchase. The units are quite, easy to configure, and you’ll notice an immediate difference in the room temperature. I use these in an upstairs room that does not have a return to pull more cool air into the room. The boosters are strong enough to make a significant difference in the room temperature without using much power (energy saver)!
