Essential Info

Imagine being able to walk into a room, press a button and have the airflow only to that room immediately boosted by up to 80% and to all be done quietly. The Suncourt In-Line Duct Booster Fan increases ventilation to selected areas and equalizes temperatures in rooms that are too hot or too cold, or build your own power-circulated HVAC system. Installation is easy: simply cut the flexible or rigid duct where you want the fan installed, insert the duct,and then seal the duct with a nylon strap (for flexible ducts) or sheet metal screws (for rigid ducts) and plug in the 110V AC power cord. This 12-Inch In-Line Duct Fan uses high-performance balanced polycorbonate fan blades, and the fan comes with approximately 6-inch wire leads.

    In-Line Duct Fans can be wired directly to a wall switch for manual control or to an HVAC system (an optional 110V relay may be required). To turn on the duct fan automatically only when there is air flow, just add the DuctStat Duct Fan Thermostat, sold separately. The DuctStat requires that the duct fan have a 110V plug end.

    Very quiet. Increased Airflow to a new addition that I added to my home. Installation is easy: Simply cut the flexible duct where I wanted the fan installed, insert the duct,and then seal the duct with a nylon strap.

    Product does as expected, however the "shroud and support braces are pretty light weight and bend easily. Care must be used in handling and installation. It does do the job though....my customer is very pleased with the results.

    Installed easily and Worked great for about 13 months, then the motor stopped working and the fan was out of warrantee. Now I have to spend another $60 to replace it and have someone install it. Where is the quality that will last? I'll pay a little more for one that won't break as soon as the warrantee is up.
