Easy Retrofit InstallationTo install, cut out the required opening using the included template and insert the In-Line Duct Fan, securing it to the existing duct with the included spring. Wire it to your furnace blower or wall switch. This In-Line Duct Fan uses high-performance balanced polycarbonate fan blades, and the fan comes with approximately 6-inch wire leads.
Manual or Thermostat ControlThe In-Line Duct Fan can be wired directly to a wall switch for manual control or to an HVAC system. To turn on the duct fan automatically only when there is airflow, just add the DuctStat Duct Fan Thermostat (sold separately). You can even add an In-LineLinc Relay, which wires in discreetly to allow the In-Line Duct Fan to be controlled remotely from any INSTEON-enabled controller.
