I have been looking for something to help cool off my upstairs for years & now I found it. Right now I am using it in my computer room & I am completely happy. It helps cool enough so that my computer hasn't been overheating and I can stay on it longer . I am very happy that I bought this booster fan and that my neighbor told me about it. I am hopeing to buy more.

I tried it in a room that faces East and can be 5 - 10 degrees warmer that other rooms upstairs. It did not help one bit. Tried it on both the register and the return register.

We ordered 2 booster fans. One of them comes on with our air conditioner and the other stays on most of the time(no matter what the setting is). They do seem to produce exellent air flow - the difference is really noticeable.

We had this product for @ three months (may/june/july).Works well to help lower temps in our upstairs bedrooms during hot summer days and especially nights. Fan is a bit loud and thermostat, when triggered by cool air turns fan on for few seconds then stops fan for about 15 seconds and then fan goes on and stays on til a/c shuts off. This is something we got used to and doesn't bother us. Upstairs living and especially sleeping has been much more comfortable since we purchased this product making it, overall well worth it. Five stars if fan was quieter and if it had no thermostat glitch.

We ordered two of these boosters to help out in our upstairs where there are too few registers. Oh what a difference they make! The fans are very effective on them and help to blow the cold air up.

I really am happy with the results of this though I do wish I had known you had a model for a few dollars more that actually sits down in the duct rather than on top of the floor.
