Essential Info

If you have a fireplace or a window air conditioner in your home, you can easily move the warm or cool air to other rooms by using the EntréeAir Doorway Booster Fan. The fan circulates approximately 100 Cubic Feet of air per Minute (CFM), rapidly balancing temperatures and improving ventilation throughout your home. The EntréeAir mounts in the corner of a doorway, beside the wood doorstop strip, allowing you to shut your door for privacy if needed. There are keyhole slots in both straight sides of the unit, so it can be hung to blow air in or blow air out of any room. It uses only 27 Watts of electricity (similar to a small light bulb) and is barely audible with a sound level of only 50dBA, so it won't distract you from day to day activities. This plug-in unit uses a 10 foot long power cord with a convenient built-in on/off switch. The EntréeAir Doorway Booster Fan is a unique product that offers a safe, efficient and effective way to move air from one room to another and balance the temperature throughout your home all year long.

    Slightly noisy, but I knew what I was buying and it does what I bought it for really well. That's moving the wood stove heat from one end of the house the rest.

    My apartment is quite long with uneven temperatures; 70 degrees on one end and 58 to 60 degrees on the other end. I bought two of these EntreeAir door frame fans and what a difference! The warm end of the place is still warm but the cold end is now 6 to 8 degrees warmer! You can hear them running but the sound does not interfere with sleep, TV, or conversation. Not much money spent for a BIG improvement!

    This is what I was looking for. Installation is easy. Operation is reasonable quiet (rushing air, bit no vibration or audible mechanical noise). Remains to be seen whether it markedly improves heat distribution, but that's my problem, not the device. Due to the slotted hole mounting, there's no avoiding a 3/4 " space between fan top and door frame. I wonder if there's a method for getting it flush?

    I bought two of these fan, one for us, one for our tenant. Our refrigerators are on confined spaces, ours actually in a former doorway between two rooms. It got very hot in these alcoves . I bought these fans to create circulation, allowing the refrigerator to disperse the heat it created. It's working great from a practical point of view. Perhaps its a bit loud, and I certainly cannot tell how long it will last, but as of now (two months later), it is performing even better than I hoped for. I was able to lower our refrigerator thermostat setting by 3 notches.

    We bought 2 and wew also read the reviews. We live in a large older home and the two we bought are not enought to move the fireplace heat to the upstairs area. They are very loud but effective for the lower rooms.

    We bought this fan to pull the warm air from the other end of the house where our fireplace is located, because the bedroom would be very cold when the fireplace was burning and the furnace wouldn't run because the thermostat was in the open area where the fireplace was.
