Customize your home's heating and cooling system to match YOUR schedule, not everyone else's! This extremely flexible thermostat lets you program custom schedules for each day of the week, rather than the basic weekday/weekend settings offered by most other programmable models. The 7-Day Programmable Thermostat is perfect for anybody whose schedule varies throughout the week. Now you can program the heat to turn on at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 9:00 a.m. on Sunday — or any other combination you can think of. Plus, you'll still have full manual control anytime you decide to make an adjustment. Power is supplied by two AA batteries (sold separately) that normally last one year.

Each day is divided into 4 periods, (wake-up, leaving, returning and bed time) in which you can program heating and A/C temperature set points. Just enter the times at which you wake up, leave for work, arrive back home and go to bed. Then program desired temperatures for comfort mode, economy mode, and vacation mode. Finally, for each day of the week, choose a "mode" for each "time" and you'll always have the perfect balance of home comfort and utility savings. There's also a single button vacation mode — press a single button just before you leave for your vacation, and your house will stay at the desired temperature indefinitely. Another single press of a button on the programmable thermostat when you get back home returns everything to your normal schedule.
The 7-Day Programmable Thermostat works with conventional gas or electrical systems with 2-, 3-, 4- or 5-wire installations. The thermostat will not work with heat pumps, milli-volt systems, and electric baseboard heaters. Power is supplied by two AA batteries that normally last one year. Sixty days prior to battery failure, a battery icon on the display will flash.
Other features include an elegant clock display in either 12 or 24 hour formats, temperature displays in C° or F°, and adjustable regulation cycles (5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes). The thermostat also reduces wear and tear on your HVAC equipment by preventing short-run cycles and implementing mandatory "time-out" periods during which the system is allow to "rest" 10% of the last run time. Can be upgraded with a telephone controller for remote activation of the vacation mode — great for warming up your vacation home by phone several hours before you arrive! You can also program the system to automatically switch into or out of vacation mode with any home automation controller or security system that can provide 12 volts DC.
