Program Up to 4 Daily Heating Schedules

Use the Auto mode to run four timed programs each day. Automatically warm your house in the morning to help you get out of bed, drop the temperature when everyone leaves for work and school, raise it again when everyone comes home, and drop it again when everyone's off to bed. No more forgetting to turn off the heater! You'll still be able to control this thermostat manually, if desired. Programming settings are maintained in a non-volatile memory, so they won't be lost when the power goes out. When the power comes back on, the thermostat will return to the same operating mode it was in before power was lost. The thermostat also features an on/standy switch to put the thermostat in sleep mode when its use is no longer required (e.g. summer).

Built-In Surge Protection

You won't need to worry about damage to your thermostat from power surges, thanks to a built-in ground-fault circuit interruptor (GFCI). The GFCI monitors the electrical flow for any loss of current; if there is one, the thermostat will cut off power to the heating system. The GFCI test light verifies safety cutoff is functioning and alerts if a leak is detected.

Want to control your thermostat using your phone? The 1800-Watt Baseboard Thermostat has the capability for remote control using touch-tone over a standard telephone line when used with the Telephone Controller. A 3600-Watt Baseboard Thermostat without the GFCI is also available.
