The Deluxe Telephone Controller is ideal for controlling other devices too, such as lights, automatic gates/garage doors and more. It has four dry-contact relays that can be used with an X10 Powerflash Interface Module or an I/O Linc - INSTEON Low Voltage / Contact Closure Interface (1 In / 1 Out ) to turn on lights or appliances. Once a hardwired connection is made between your phone line, the Deluxe Telephone Controller, and a thermostat or interface module, one phone call is all it takes to change the mode of your thermostat, turn lights on or off, and even open and close gates and doors.
