Now gain even more control over your HVAC system by adding this Remote Sensor Module to your ecobee Smart Touchscreen Thermostat or Energy Management System. This module receives inputs from up to four remote sensors and passes this info along to the ecobee Equipment Interface. The sensors can be off-the-shelf 10K NTC sensors; the instruction manual advises how to calibrate the thermostat to nearly any sensor. Using remote sensors allows you to adjust the HVAC system based on your comfort, not a thermostat setting. Add humidity and temperature sensors at various locations throughout your home to maintain optimum comfort. Use the remote sensors to drive the ecobee's high/low temp or humidity alerts. Monitor these parameters over the internet using your personalized web portal. Add an outdoor sensor to incorporate current weather data into your system and make adjustments based on conditions, instead of continuing with present programming.
