Essential Info
The Wireless Single Rocker Switch is a battery-free wireless light switch that saves you time and hassle by eliminating the need for wires and switch boxes. It is the perfect solution for adding a light switch virtually anywhere in your home without needing to run new wire when paired with an RF relay (non-dimming) receiver or a plug-in dimmer receiver, each sold separately. The light switch can programmed to the receiver through a simple single-button configuration procedure. Traditionally the wireless light switch is surface mounted on a wall with screws or industrial tape but can also be used in a standard switch box or as a wireless hand held remote. The switch is powered by EnOcean technology that converts the press of the switch into a small amount of electricity. This electricity is used to transmit a radio frequency (RF) wireless signal that communicates with the relay receiver. By adding more switches with a receiver module you can install 3-way and 4-way lighting applications quickly and easily. Or add more relay receivers and control an unlimited numbers of lights with one switch. With an RF wireless range of nearly 100 feet, transmitters and receivers allows you to add lighting control from almost anywhere in your home. Singe Rocker Switch is also available in Black, Brown, Ivory, Light Almond, and White.

Additional Information About These Lighting Controls
Wireless controls can be placed virtually anywhere and control any device that is within range. This flexibility opens up the opportunity for energy savings that was not available in the past. To accomplish energy savings in an existing home or building, a system of self-powered wireless controls can be installed to decrease the amount of energy used from lights, HVAC units, and devices that draw standby power. Self-powered wireless temperature sensors can be used to set heating or air conditioning to an "economy" setting. A master switch can be used to stop current from entering devices that draw standby power and easily ensure lights, fans, and other devices are off when exiting.
