The Plug-in Dimmer/Relay Wireless Light Switch Kit is the perfect solution for adding a dimmable light switch virtually anywhere in your home without needing to run new wire. The kit includes one self-powered wireless light switch and one Plug-in Dimmer/Relay RF receiver. Simply plug a lamp into the Dimmer/Relay receiver and then plug the Dimmer/Relay into an outlet. The lamp can then be easily controlled using the self-powered wireless light switch. The light switch is programmed to the receiver through a simple single-button configuration procedure. This battery-free wireless light switch saves you time and hassle by eliminating the need for wires and switch boxes. Traditionally the wireless light switch is surface mounted on a wall with screws or industrial tape but can also be used in a standard switch box or as a wireless hand held remote. The switch is powered by EnOcean technology that converts the press of the switch into a small amount of electricity. This electricity is used to transmit a radio frequency (RF) wireless signal that communicates with the relay receiver. By adding more switches you can install 3-way and 4-way lighting applications quickly and easily. Or add more relay receivers and control an unlimited number of lights with one switch. With an RF wireless range of nearly 100 feet, these wireless transmitters and receivers allows you to add lighting control from almost anywhere in you home.
Please Note: The receiver arrives in Dimmer Mode by default, but can be programmed to operate in Relay Mode

The Plug-in Dimmer/Relay Receiver was engineered to dim and provide ON/OFF control of various 120V electronic devices such as:
Incandescent lamps (Dim or Relay)
High-voltage halogen lamps (Relay only)
Fluorescent (Relay, some fluorescents are dimmable)
LEDs (Relay, some LEDs are dimmable)
Dimmer Mode Controls
Quick Press ON (top of the switch) - Light is raised to the last saved brightness setting
Second Quick Press ON - Light is raised to 100% brightness
Quick Press OFF - Light is lowered to OFF
Press, Hold & Release - Raises or lowers light level. Release point defines the preferred brightness setting

Wireless controls can be placed virtually anywhere and control any device that is within range. This flexibility opens up the opportunity for energy savings that was not available in the past.
