By setting up a Greyfox Cat. 5 Audio system, you'll be able to access music from any connected room in the house, using a single audio source that sends music over inexpensive cat. 5 wiring. But if you prefer not to limit your listening pleasure, you can still listen to a different music source in a separate room by installing the Cat. 5 Audio Local Source Input, which allows family members to listen to different music sources in separate rooms simultaneously. All other components of the Greyfox Cat. 5 Audio system are sold separately.

The Cat. 5 Audio Local Source Input seamlessly overrides the main audio source, making it ideal for your child's room or any other room that may require different musical entertainment. RCA inputs provide easy connection, but the unit uses standard cat. 5 wiring to transmit power, stereo audio, status and infrared control; you'll still be able to control the unit with the Greyfox Volume Control.
The Cat. 5 Audio Local Source Input sits in an unobtrusive in-wall decorator plate and even provides a status light to indicate local override activity. The Cat. 5 Audio Local Source Input fits into a standard designer wall plate (sold separately).
