The OnQ legrand IC1004-WH inQuire Broadcast Intercom Room Unit provides basic intercom communications functions such as talk, talk to door, monitor, and mute. Up to 12 Room Units can be installed per each inQuire 1000 intercom system. The Room Unit provides broadcast intercom functionality in any interior room of the house. By integrating an inQuire Intercom System into your home, you'll be able to communicate with your family over inexpensive cat. 5 wiring. Add a Cat. 5 Intercom Room Unit to your inQuire Intercom System to link another room in your home to your communication system. Each Cat. 5 Intercom Room Unit provides hands-free intercom communication, monitoring, and mute in any room. The Room Units are powered by and require the inQuire Intercom Module, which installs directly in your OnQ Enclosure. Both the inQuire Intercom Module and the OnQ Enclosure are sold separately. Standard 2 gang decora wall plate included.

The inQuire Intercom System is an expandable broadcast system that will allow you to talk from any unit to all others in the home. This system will support up to 12 indoor Room Units, each of which is trimmed with a standard 2-gang decora wall plate (included).
The Room Unit offers local control of mute and monitor functions. The mute button ensures privacy when needed, while the monitor function comes in handy for families with sleeping children. Calls from the Main Console (sold separately along with the Cat. 5 Intercom Module), can be answered hands-free, so you won't need to dash across the room when you're being summoned. You can even answer the door from any Room Unit if your door is connected to a Door Unit (sold separately).
Additional features include 64-step volume control and a separate microphone and speaker. The high quality speaker and microphone provide superior sound quality. The Greyfox Intercom System also interfaces with telephone, audio, and camera monitoring systems for added features.
