The 5-Port Ethernet Switch Module is a 10/100 base-T Ethernet network switch that links up to five devices, including computers, printers, and modems. The 5-Port Ethernet Switch Module requires an external low-voltage power supply, sold separately. The Greyfox structured wiring distribution enclosures are sold separately.

With its plug-and-connect design for simple port configuration, the 5-Port Ethernet Switch Module is designed to improve computer performance by providing dedicated bandwidth to every user. It does this by automatically adjusts each port to the highest speed available, with no configuration or service interruptions migrating from 10Mbps to 100Mbps.
The 5-Port Ethernet Switch Module mounts in a single-size module space of any Greyfox structured wiring box. A separate cascade port for expansion is also available, so you can connect two hubs to support 10 switched ports.
Additional Greyfox modules are also available. Share high-speed Internet access and peripherals with multiple computers with the 4-Port Internet Firewall Router or the 8-Port Internet Firewall Router. Telephone and video distribution modules are also available and sold separately.
