Adding a wall-mounted flat screen Plasma or LCD HDTV to your home is an important investment, however there are additional accessories you will need to factor in to your decision making. To attach your new TV to a wall you will need a mount, and to connect your TV with your cable or satellite receiver and other A/V components (receiver/amplifier, DVD player, Blu-ray player, PS3, etc.) you will need the appropriate A/V cables. To ensure a professional look and finish to your installation, use this Recessed High and Low Voltage Wall Plate Kit for your Low Voltage/High Voltage In-Wall Cable Management. The included double gang wall plate mounts flush to your wall, typically behind a wall mounted TV. On one side of the plate is a recessed plug that is hard-wired to your home's AC Power (a single old work electrical box is included). The other side has a recessed opening that funnels A/V cables inside the wall. The included single gang low-voltage wall plate is then typically installed (with the included mounting bracket) inside or near your entertainment cabinet, entertainment center or equipment rack/closet. This allows the cables to be exposed only at the component connection points virtually eliminating audio video (A/V) cables from view. Ideal for new construction and retrofit applications, this product is a cost-effective solution for a clean installation of your A/V components that will keep cables out of sight.
