Adding a wall-mounted flat screen Plasma or LCD HDTV to your home is an important investment, however there are additional accessories you will need to factor in to your decision making. To attach your new TV to a wall you will need a mount, and to connect your TV with your cable or satellite receiver and other A/V components (receiver/amplifier, DVD player, Blu-ray player, PS3, etc.) you will need the appropriate A/V cables. To ensure a professional look and finish to your installation, use this Double Gang Recessed Wall Plate for your Low Voltage/High Voltage In-Wall Cable Management. This plate mounts flush to your wall, with a recessed opening on one side that funnels A/V cables inside the wall so they can be ran to your entertainment cabinet, entertainment center or equipment rack/closet, which will complete the connection and keep the cables out of sight; you may want to add a single gang, double gang or triple gang in-wall cable management plate at this location, each sold separately. On the other side of the plate is a recessed plug that is hard-wired to your AC Power (a single gang junction box is required and sold separately), allowing you to plug your TV in directly behind where it is mounted. This plate will work to provide a nice finish to any flat screen television installation, but it can also be used with a receiver/amplifier, computer and other devices that use power, A/V cables, data lines or phone lines. Ideal for new construction and retrofit applications, this product is a cost-effective connection point for a clean installation of A/V components.
