This astronomical timer is programmable up to 7-days allowing 10 On/Off settings per week. Whether for 24-hour or 7-day control, this digital timer is equipped with features to suit almost every application requiring scheduled operation of your lighting or appliances. Compatible with incandescent bulbs as well as CFL, the SS721 will also automatically control fans, pumps, and other motors. Input voltage is compatible with both 120V and 277V systems making it quite universal.

The SS721 will work in both single pole applications and 3-way switching circuits. This switch does require a neutral wire, it is best to check for this before purchasing this device.. This timer does not use a battery-backup, instead uses an internal capacitor to maintain settings. This internal capacitor alleviates the need for user's to remove the switch or go into the wall whenever a battery needs changing. The random setting is a great security feature giving your home a lived-in look while you are away. Even more convenience is provided with intuitive automatic updating for the sunset/sunrise timer. This in-wall timer will fit any standard decora style wall plate (sold separately). Suitable for use with up to 1/2HP loads, and 16 Amp resistive loads, this device will work wonderfully for scheduled operation of pool or fountain pumps.
