Essential Info

The Tork 454D 7 Day Digital Grounded Plug and Receptacle automatically turn ON/OFF lamps, radio, and TVs giving the home a lived-in look while you are away. It also works for coffee makers and electric heaters. The timer features weekly programming with 15 different day groups, and 7 ON/OFF event pairs. The timer offers manual daylight savings adjustment and random mode to enhance lived-in look. It has battery power outage backup and manual override until next ON or OFF. This timer has grounded plug and outlet, and it is for indoor use only.

Very fast shipping. These are great programmable light timers. It takes awhile to master the programming schedule, but worth the learning curve.

Bought two, one was dead on arrival. Returned on RMA an got it replaced. Instruction sheet is almost useless; user is required to figure it out for himself by trial and error. I'm not even sure the firmware in this device works correctly. If I set up a simple ON/OFF, one setting for all days of the week just like a mechanical timer, it seems to work correctly. If I set up various ON/OFF times for different days of the week it seem to randomly turn on and off (Yes, the RANDOM function is off). I will experiment some more but I've already spent more in hours of my time than the product is worth. I have NO confidence that Tork has any clue what they are doing.
