Whether you have holiday lights decorating your house in December or accent lights spotlighting your garden all year long, it's never convenient to dash outside to turn off the lights right before you go to bed. Use a remote to turn lights, or other electrical devices, on and off from the convenience and safety of your home using the Heavy-Duty Remote Control from Carlon. This wireless remote can control up to 960 watts of lighting, or a 13-amp resistive load, such as a garden fountain. It has a working range of up to 150 feet and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in a standard AC outlet.

    Plug the Heavy-Duty Remote Control into any standard indoor or outdoor outlet. It's safe to use in wet locations, so whether it's being used to turn on lights in the snow or a splashing fountain, you can use this device with confidence. Select any of four channels to make sure the transmitter and receiver are communicating. The Heavy-Duty Remote Control can power incandescent, fluorescent, or halogen lights from up to 150 feet away. The receiver even accepts 3-prong grounded plugs.

    Not A Happy Camper. . the controler only worked at close range ( around 25 feet away) I replaced the battery because i thought the signal was weak and this did not help . . then i relocated the receiver control box inline without any obstruction but was unsucessful. . . i just gave up. .

    I use the remote switch to reset my modem which is located in the basement and my computer is upstairs. I use to have to run downstairs and pull the power then turn it back on. Now all I do is push the "OFF" button - wait 30 seconds - Then push the "ON" button. I'm back on line. I wasn't sure when I bought the remote switch that it would work thru the floor, but it works great. Thinking about buying another remote switch. I'll find some use for it, I'm sure. Thanks for a great product. Bill
