According to the National Electric Code, electrical conductors can share an outlet box when the conductors and communication cables are separated by a barrier within the box. Just slip this Low Voltage Divider Plate into place, and you've got your barrier! It comes in a distinctive orange color, allowing inspectors to immediately know that high and low-voltage conductors are on opposite sides of the divider and installed in an accepted format.
