In addition to all this, it still offers the lightweight, noncorrosive and nonconductive benefits of nonmetallic construction - no grounding wires required! Also available in single-gang, two-gang, and three-gang sizes.
High- and Low-Voltage Items Together in the Same Box It’s often convenient to combine both high- and low-voltage devices in one Extra Deep Heavy-Duty Junction Box. According to the National Electric Code, electrical conductors can share an outlet box when the conductors and communication cables are separated by a barrier within the box. Just slip the Low Voltage Divider Plate into place, and you have your barrier! It comes in a distinctive orange color, allowing inspectors to immediately know that high and low-voltage conductors are on opposite sides of the divider and installed in an accepted format.
