The Wireless Decora-Style Plug-In Switch Kit consists of a plug-in module and a wireless transmitter that looks like a standard Decora-style switch but actually uses radio-frequency signals to turn the module's connected lamp or appliance on and off. The Wireless Decora Plug-In Switch is powered by 4 AAA batteries (sold separately).

Just plug the light you want to control into the base, which plugs into any standard 15- or 20-amp wall outlet. Place the switch up to 50 feet away, and when you use the Decora-style paddle, it will turn your light or appliance on and off. The control signal even passes through walls and floors. The Wireless Decora-Style Plug-In Switch Kit is capable of controlling any 600w incandescent, 300w fluorescent, or 600w appliance.
This kit can be operated on one of two channels (A or B). This means that you can add an additional kit to operate a separate light or appliance without interference, even in the same room. You could also purchase two kits and have each wall switch control the same two plug-in modules simultaneously. Each transmitter comes with a matching wall plate.
Note: This kit is not X10 compatible.
