Essential Info

You can conserve electricity and provide a lighted, safe environment at night by using the battery operated Mr Beams Motion-Sensor LED Spotlight. With a built in photocell, the LED is only activated in darkness, extending the life of your batteries. When the motion sensor picks up movement, a bright light will illuminate the area around it. For your convenience you can rotate the light 360° and tilt it up or down. With the included mounting hardware, it can be mounted wherever you may need the motion activated LED to light up; the stairway, bathroom, hallway, kitchen, garage, front porch, back patio or shed. The Motion-Sensor LED Stair Light requires the use of three D batteries for power, sold separately.

I purchased two Mr Beams Spotlights in May. The one installed under the patio cover has worked since day one. The second, installed on the brick at the East side of the house failed twice due to direct sunlight from an exctremely hot Texas heat wave. SmartHome replace it both times without question. Since the new one was installed where it does not get the extremely hot temperatures, it is working fine. SmartHome's response was outstanding. SmartHome went way beyond and provided excellent service. I would recommend SmartHome to anyone.

This is an additional unit for me. The older models ordered 2 years ago and mounted to illuminate my front door still works great. The new model only has one brightness and timing setting. The batteries easily last more than one year with normal use.

The Mr. Beams Spotlight is easy to set up anywhere you need a fantastic powerful light. It's wide beam and surprisingly bright but pleasant coverage works very well. The motion detection is perfect. I found it easier to mount with the one screw hole in the middle. I now have four of these installed about 12 feet up but under eves to illuminate some back and side areas of my house. Highly recommend this product!

I now have four of these installed on my property. These lights are bright with a nice wide and focused beam. I used the center screw option installation. Really, that' s all you need if you are attaching to a tree or under a wood eve. Took me minutes to install four lights. Very happy with purchase.

Installed quickly. Provides excellent coverage of a patio entrance area. Very reliable. No problem being in an area unprotected from the elements. Definitely a bargain!

The light will only come on when it is dark, so if it is close to my wired in motion-sensored lighting it will more than likely not turn on. However I have placed one on the near the south wall (a dark area) and it shines just fine. Also, when we had a blackout, these lights shine very well(battery operated). Easy to set up and install.

Very dim and the batteries do not last long. After 30 days the light is already getting dimmer and it has only been on five times. Motion sensor works very well though. If this light was around $5 it would be a good deal but way overpriced for the quality.
