Neat timer with good features. Lots of event per day and the On/Off button recovers to auto at the next event. Could have been more convenient if one of the two outlets was always on.

This timer replaced an Intermatic DT27 astronomic dusk/dawn timer only one receptacle I purchased in 2005 which worked flawlessly until it just quit this year after 7 years. Tried to find another one, but apparently that model is no longer made. Do not need the second receptacle. It controls an electric lamp post in my front yard. This model was actually $5 cheaper than the DT27 was in 2005. The price has dropped on these types of timers since they've been around awhile now and they are cranking out more of them, I guess. This model is very easay to program -easier than the DT27 was, although I again just set this one up for astronomic dusk/dawn on/off. If you want variable on/off settings or want to skip days, it may be a little more involved. Worked fine right out of the box. Hope it lasts at least 7 years.
