Essential Info

The Intermatic EJ500C 24-Hour Electronic In-Wall Timer is a replacement for your standard indoor wall switch. The optional Self-Adjusting features automatically changes with daily sunrise and sunset time changes. Set it once with the easy to set programming and no resetting will be required. 7 on and off times available for 7 days of the week. Have a separate set of timers for the weekends than you have on the weekdays. The optional random feature will make sure the lights do not come on at exactly the same time every day to deter burglars. At any time you can override the lights to turn them on and off without interrupting the schedule.

Timer arrived on time. Installation was easy. Unit started to malfunction after 3 days. Batteries went dead. Replaced with new but they went dead in 2 days. Smarthome sent replacement which was installed today. Will have to see if this one lasts longer.

I purchased this because I wanted my porch light to stay on all night and me not forget to turn it off the next morning! Well, it works great! It was easy to install and the set up was a breeze. The only drawback is the small buttons and the hard to read tiny print, but I think that's more to do with my age than the product itself. LOL If you are looking for a great 24-hour timer, then I would highly recommend going with this one. And Smarthome service was fast!!

Works great! Instructions covered all situations. The only improvement would be a backlit LCD to help in setting up. After I installed it I haven't touched it. Should be installed by someone with decent knowledge of electrical wiring if using a 3 way switch.

This is the 2nd unit I have purchased. It is by far the best built in timer on the market regardless of price. Once you get the hang of programming it you will be amazed how accurate it is determining sun down and sun up times. Smarthome had the best price and the timer was delivered in a timly manner.

This is our second timer. Hook it up, program it, and forget about it. We chose due to battery backup in case the power goes out. Nice for extended trips away from home to make sure the lights are going off and on to give that lived in look.

I had ordered two in-wall timers, received the order very quickly, within a couple days of placing the order. Upon installation of one of the timers it did not function correctly. Contacted customer service, informed them of the issue and was promptly delivered a replacement to the defective unit. Awesome price and delivery.. awesome customer service on issues.
