The manual override button is a convenient option if you wish to override your current timer status. Placement of the green tabs will automatically determine when the connected appliance will be on, and placement of the red tabs will determine when the appliance will automatically be off. By limiting the amount of time your devices are on you can significantly reduce the amount of energy being used and eliminate the cost for that energy. It is a great low cost way to automate your appliances up to 2,500 watts and control the amount of power they are using.
