This receiver/transmitter set allows you to control a plug-in device simply by walking into the room. When the motion sensor detects movement, it transmits signals to the top outlet of the receptacle to automatically turn the connected device on. The motion sensor’s 150 degree detection angle can sense motion within 30 feet of the unit and can transmit signals up to 100 feet. Sensitivity is adjustable and you can even program the motion sensor for night/day or night only operation. This sensor requires the use of two AA batteries, sold separately.

The receptacle can be used to replace any standard outlet in your home. The top outlet can control loads up to 1800 Watts and 15 Amps. When it receives signals, the top outlet will automatically turn on whatever device is plugged into it. The bottom outlet can be used as a regular, uncontrolled outlet and will not be affected by the motion sensor’s signals.
