It's the middle of the night. You're in bed, lights out, when you hear the noises coming from the backyard. You peer through the blinds, into the dark, and see nothing. You hear it again. You think of a few recent newspaper articles, a story you saw on TV - then quickly reassure yourself. It’s probably just a couple of cats running through the bushes, or a coyote. Could be a raccoon. Didn’t one of your neighbors say there are raccoons around? They’re nocturnal, right? You lie back down for a few minutes, then look out again. Still dark. Easily control your entire house's lighting design with the Dimmer Switch INSTEON Starter Kit, which includes one ControLinc tabletop controller, two SwitchLinc V2 Dimmers, and two SignaLinc RFs. If you need to control a fluorescent light fixture or a non-dimmable appliance, use a SwitchLinc V2 Relay, the perfect addition to your starter kit. Easy To Install
The Dimmer Switch INSTEON Starter Kit is so easy to install and set up and yet so affordable, you'll want to change all of your switches to new INSTEON-enabled switches, allowing all of your lights and appliances to benefit from your new INSTEON automated lighting system. Just remove the old switches and reattach the new switch's line, load, ground, and neutral wires using the included wire nuts, and you're almost done. Plug in the SignaLinc RFs to join the phases of your existing electrical wiring to ensure INSTEON network reliability, and then you'll be able to start linking devices and setting brightness levels and ramp rates that create awesome lighting scenes like "Movie Time," "Party," "Romance," etc., that help you to enjoy the overall desired experience.

SwitchLinc V2 Dimmer
The SwitchLinc dimmer has 32 brightness levels and a ramp rate that can be set from .01 to 9 seconds locally, which helps with getting your lights to the perfect intensity. The dimmer can be a member of more than 400 scenes, which you'll be able to launch with a single button press. A built-in elegant brightness bar of 8 white LEDs indicates the current brightness of the lights being controlled. The dimmer supports 3-, 4-, or 5-way circuits for maximum flexibility. ControLinc
The ControLinc is an easy-to-set up and -use plug-in tabletop controller. You can control up to five individual INSTEON-enabled devices or sets of devices with the tabletop ControLinc, which has a total of 14 buttons. Five sets of buttons turn on and off your INSTEON-enabled devices. The "all on" and "all off" buttons can control all devices linked to any of the five on/off buttons. "Brighten" and "dim" will adjust the brightness level of the any linked INSTEON wall dimmers or plug-in lamp dimmers. Have a look at the ControLinc tabletop controller in more detail.
SignaLinc RF
The SignaLinc RF is the most important part of the INSTEON network. SignaLinc RFs create your dual-mesh INSTEON network by simultaneously transmitting and receiving INSTEON messages across both radio frequency and your home's existing electrical wiring. When used as a pair, the SignaLinc RFs couple the two different electrical phases of your home's AC lines. This provides maximum reliability to ensure your message will reach its intended INSTEON device. Unlike other switches, the Linc line switches offer the natural feel of high-end switches. You'll love the crisp, tactile response with each touch instead of the mushy feeling of other brands. The Linc line switches are designed and manufactured to high-end specifications and go through over 10 quality-control tests before arriving at your doorstep. White and ivory trim paddles are included with each SwitchLinc dimmer, but additional colors are available and sold separately. Flexible Setup
SwitchLinc dimmer switches give you tremendous flexibility with controlling your lighting system. Other switches only provide an on/off function, but each Linc line switch can perform up to four different functions. Press the top once for ON; press the bottom for OFF. Press and hold ON to brighten; press and hold OFF to dim.
