KeypadLinc, you can also save some energy and money by recalling "energy-savings mode," which minimizes the activity of your HVAC system while you're sleeping. Because you can program any button on an INSTEON controller to any temperature and mode on the thermostat, the possibilities are endless.
This product contains the Venstar T1800 thermostat along with an embedded INSTEON Thermostat Adapter; this thermostat requires power to function. If you do not have a "common" wire running to your thermostat from your heating/cooling equipment, you may need either to run a new wire or to install a thermostat
Add-A-Wire kit.
Set up different heating/cooling programs to best fit your schedule. A program can be set up for each day of the week, so you can completely customize your climate control, even if it varies from one day to the next. 1-day programmable version.
Note: Because the thermostat is an RF-only INSTEON product, at least one
dual-band INSTEON device is required to communicate with your other INSTEON devices. This thermostat is not compatible with Venstar accessories that connect via the jack (located at the bottom of the unit).
