If you're like most people, rising utility costs are hitting you where it hurts the most - your wallet! One way to combat skyrocketing utility bills is to use energy efficient CFL light bulbs and/or LED light bulbs (each sold separately) as a replacement for power guzzling incandescent bulbs. If you're already using dimmer switches, it's likely the dimmer switches won't work on the new energy efficient light bulbs, it may actually cause lights to flicker, or even worse, cause damage to your bulb or dimmer switch. By using this Remote Control Lamp Kit along with energy efficient CFL and/or LED light bulbs installed in your lamps, you can start saving on your electricity costs immediately. As an added convenience, the RemoteLinc allows you to shut off the lights connected to each ApplianceLinc anywhere in and around your home (up to 150 feet away from the nearest plugged in Access Point) - by hitting the 'ALL OFF' button, you can ensure that any linked lights are off at a moments notice. Please Note: This kit is specifically designed to control non-dimmable CFL and LED light bulbs, if you wish to have the same control with dimming capability for incandescent bulbs, use the RemoteLinc - INSTEON Lamp Control Starter Kit, Black. Note: If you are using LED lights that are very low wattage, you may notice that the LED's do not turn out completely when plugged into an ApplianceLinc. In this case, you’ll need to add to the load with more LED's or higher wattage bulbs - generally higher than a 5 watt load. Limit: One Per Customer

Easy Setup
The kit can be set up in less than five minutes to control your lamps using a simple "Plug and Tap" setup process. Following the include instructions, simply plug in the Access Points, plug-in the ApplianceLinc modules, plug your lamps into the ApplianceLinc modules and insert the batteries into your RemoteLinc. Each of the six ON/OFF buttons on the RemoteLinc can be set up to control each lamp individually or to control both lamps at the same time.
How it Works
RemoteLinc sends RF signals to Access Points which send signals over your existing power wires to the ApplianceLinc On/Off modules. NOTE: While at least 1 Access Point is required when using an RF transmitter, at least 2 are recommended (and included in this kit) to ensure a reliable INSTEON network.
Expandability
Expand this RemoteLinc kit to include control of other INSTEON dimmers and switches, wire-in / outlet modules, plug-in modules, low-voltage input / output control, and HVAC control to automate lighting and appliances, control the garage door, adjust the temperature and much more.
