Have you ever wished you could control lighting scenes with a handheld remote from the comfort of your couch or bed? The RemoteLinc - INSTEON Lamp Control Kit makes this possible. Using the included INSTEON RemoteLinc (Black), you'll be able to wirelessly turn all INSTEON-compatible devices on and off at the press of a button. The simple-to-use plug-in Dual-Band LampLinc Dimmers have advanced features like an adjustable ramp rate that slowly brings the lamp on, a preset dim level that stores your preferred choice of 32 brightness levels when turning the lamp on initially, as well as local control, so you can still use the lamp's built-in switch to turn the light on and off. Each of the six ON/OFF buttons on the RemoteLinc can be set up to remotely control multiple lights or just one light in your home, allowing you to create dramatic lighting scenes. This kit is also available with a silver RemoteLinc, sold separately.  How it worksRemoteLinc sends On/Off/Dim/Bright commands via RF signal up to 150' away from an Access Point or dual-band product such as the LampLinc Dual-Band (included). This system is expandable for control of up to 6 unique devices or scenes. Just add more lamp or appliance controllers or remote control wall switches and dimmers.

Easy to Install
This kit is so easy to install and set up and yet so affordable, you'll want to automate your entire home with INSTEON-compatible products. Following the included instructions, this kit can be set up and linked in less than five minutes using a simple "Plug and Tap" setup process. To control "linked" devices, you can tap one of the RemoteLinc's buttons on or off, or you can hold a button to brighten or dim. Once linked, the RemoteLinc wireless remote control sends out INSTEON signals via radio frequency (RF). The Dual-Band LampLinc modules receive the signal and turn on and off according to how they were programmed. Additionally, the LampLincs double as a pair of Access Points - relaying RF and powerline signals to other INSTEON-compatible devices in your home.
Expandability
You can expand on this kit to control your entire home by adding INSTEON dimmers and switches, wire-in / outlet modules, plug-in modules, low-voltage input / output control, and HVAC control to automate lighting and appliances, control the garage door, adjust the temperature and much more. Install HouseLinc 2 - INSTEON Desktop Software on your computer to schedule INSTEON-compatible devices to turn on or off at any specific time or even at sunrise and sunset. Or try SmartLinc - INSTEON Central Controller, which can be linked to any web-enabled mobile device through Wi-Fi and cellular communication, allowing you to control or create timers for INSTEON devices or scenes from inside your home, in the backyard, at work, in the car or on vacation halfway around the world!
