 This dimmer can be used with dimmable LED bulbs to help you save even more energy. While performance may vary between manufacturers, we have found that Sylvania Ultra LED dimmable bulbs offer great performance with a wide and smooth dimming range. The Ultra LED series include the following types: Standard (A-Line), MR16, PAR16, PAR16 GUI10, PAR20, PAR30LN and PAR38.
Easy To Install
The INSTEON SwitchLinc Dimmer is so easy to install and set up, and yet so affordable, you'll want to replace all your switches with SwitchLinc Dimmers. Just remove the old switch, reattach the line, load, and ground wires with the addition of the neutral wire using the included wire nuts, and you're done.
Custom-Etching
For the ultimate in personalization, the SwitchLinc Dimmer paddle is available with a custom-etching. Ideal for labeling switches in a multi-gang setup, custom etching allows you to identify at a glance which switch controls which load.
Slim Design
Similar dimmers are up to 50 percent deeper than the SwitchLinc Dimmer. Thanks to its slim design, it makes installation easy even in small junction boxes.

Unlike other switches, the SwitchLinc Dimmer offers the natural feel of high-end dimmers. You'll love the crisp, tactile response with each touch instead of the mushy feeling of other brands. The SwitchLinc Dimmer is designed and manufactured to high-end specifications and goes through over 10 quality control tests before arriving at your doorstep. This modern Decora-style switch will blend with any room's design. White paddles are included with each SwitchLinc Dimmer, but additional paddle colors are available and sold separately. Choose the color that best suits your room's decor: Ivory, Almond, Light Almond, Black, Brown, or Gray. Two paddles are included in each color-change set. Don't forget to order a matching wall plate. If you prefer, you can purchase your SwitchLinc with the color already changed: The INSTEON SwitchLinc Dimmer is available in Ivory, Almond, Light Almond, Black, Brown, and Gray.
Scene Lighting
Scenes allow you to control multiple lights, rooms or even the whole home with a single command. Because the SwitchLinc Dimmer can be a member of more than 400 scenes (i.e. "Movie Time," "Party," "Romance," etc.), you'll be able to launch various lighting scenarios with a single button press. These are elegant features usually found only in systems costing tens of thousands of dollars and requiring extensive rewiring of your home. All member lights can ramp to your independently desired brightness levels at your chosen ramp rate(s). So one set of lights can dim slowly, while another set turns off instantly, all controlled with one command from one button. X10 Compatible
The INSTEON SwitchLinc Dimmer is fully INSTEON compatible and X10 ready. Homeowners with existing X10 networks can easily migrate to an INSTEON network without having to discard all their existing X10 devices. X10 ready means that it can respond to X10 commands from an X10 controller and it can send X10 commands to X10 devices. Please note that INSTEON devices repeat INSTEON signals but not X10. SwitchLinc supports one X10 address.
Non-Volatile Memory
All SwitchLinc Dimmer settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are not lost during power failures. Additionally, in the event of a power loss, the SwitchLinc Dimmer will return to its last brightness level when power is restored.
