I love most of my Insteon products, but not this one. I am on my 4th thermostat adapter. 2 before the recall and 2 after and I almost just had a tech sending out my 5th but fortunately our call was disconnected and when I called back in I received a much more thorough tech who did research and found that the Insteon IPhone app is broken for everyone until ios6 came out (which incidentally didn't fix it either, but I'm able to use the web interface after a full reset of the adapter) I am convinced this adapter has been an an ill-conceived nightmare for Insteon since they've now come out with their own thermostat and wireless add-on sensor. But for customers like me who have already invested $350-$400 for the Venstar T1900, the Insteon adapter, the wiress temperature sensor, and the wireless receiver for the thermostat -we simply can't afford to buy these new pieces and scrap our investment. I really feel Insteon should offer the new items to people who have had as much trouble as I've had and been patient through 2 years of trials and tribulations.

I've had two of these adaptrers for two years now and they have worked flawlessly until about a month ago. First one died. The the replacment I received from Smarthome started setting my thermostat to 78 degrees every night at 7:45 even though it was not in program mode. I was able to fix this adapter by follwing the instructions to reset it but still it was a pain to disgnose and then fix. I understand you can now buy the Venstar thermostats with integrated adapters. Maybe this is the way to go. These thermostats are great BTW.

Had the previous version that caused malfunction issues. The new version, which was replaced under warranty, works great. I would recommend the integrated venstar/insteon tstat to the seperate units.

This was an RMA, a replacement for a replacment 2441V v2.2R that was a replacement for an earlier version that wasn't at all reliable. I have two, and thhis replacement for the replacement failed as well. It took about four weeks to get this one. It's working right now as is another one in my home. I am very happy with Insteon overall, but the jury is still out on this unit.

Working fine for the present. Allows me to monitor and control greenhouse. This is my 5th adapter in 4 years. 3 are functioning.

This product needs work. It's great when it works, but it constantly "lies" to the ISY99 about settings, triggering false alerts. Worse yet, it periodically locks up, requiring a power cycle . . . not so easy considering the power connections are inside it, so instead the home's breaker must be cycled. This really needs to be fixed. When it is, I hope you provide free upgrades.

Ok with everything. Except they don;t tell it will not work unless you have an access point. Buying it now.

The functionality of this revision is greatly improved. However, it still lacks the ability to set the thermostat's clock or change the built-in program.

Works great! This with an ISY99 is one of the nicest ways to program a thermostat.
