Essential Info
Control the temperature from anywhere in the house! INSTEON Thermostat Adapter allows you to recall stored set point/mode settings from any INSTEON-compatible controller. Faster than grabbing a blanket, you can use your coffee table RemoteLinc to recall "comfort mode," bringing the room that perfect temperature. When turning off your lights for the night from your bedside KeypadLinc you can also save some energy and money by recalling "energy-savings mode" which minimizes the activity of your HVAC system while you're sleeping. Because you can program any button on an INSTEON controller to any temperature and mode on the thermostat, the possibilities are endless. Compatible Thermostat Required: INSTEON Thermostat Adapter is compatible with the following Totaline / Venstar thermostats: T1700 (1-Day Programmable Thermostat): As a kit 2491T1 : Thermostat only 30410A
T1800 (7-Day Programmable Thermostat): As a kit 2491T7 : Thermostat only 30411A
T1900 (7-Day Programmable Thermostat, Dual Fuel): Thermostat only 30412A
These thermostats require power to function. If you do not have a "common" wire running to your thermostat from your heating/cooling equipment, you may need either to run a new wire or to install a thermostat power supply module.
Note: INSTEON Thermostat Adapter is an RF-only INSTEON product, which is not X10 compatible. At least one Access Point is required to communicate with your plug-in or wire-in INSTEON-compatible devices.

Easy To Install
Once you've installed your thermostat, INSTEON Thermostat Adapter snaps right into the jack on the bottom of your thermostat. Now all you need to do is set the thermostat to the mode/temperature you want and link it to the INSTEON controller of your choice, using INSTEON's simple Plug-n-Tap setup. Every time you activate that scene on the controller, your thermostat will return to the corresponding temperature. From plugging in your INSTEON Thermostat Adapter to changing the temperature from an INSTEON controller, setup takes as little as a couple of minutes.
Software
INSTEON Thermostat Adapter - Totaline / Venstar Compatible is compatible with HCA Standard and HCA Plus, home automation software allowing this adapter to be integrated into your home automation control system.
Non-Volatile Memory
All Thermostast Adapter settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are not lost during power failures.
