Essential Info
With iGateway, you will be able to access the INSTEON portal, Smarthome Connect (subscription included*). It is by far the simplest interface ever seen. Fast and easy to install. Just connect iGateway to a router and plug it into wall. It’s just that simple. Register iGateway and your other INSTEON devices on Smarthome Connect and you will be able to control your INSTEON system from any computer with Internet access.

Smarthome Connect
Smarthome Connect is a website portal that lets you control devices from any device with Internet access and a popular browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, etc.) installed. This is a professionally monitored device that provides easy access from everywhere without boring through firewall.
* Currently, Smarthome Connect is a free subscription that will last for a year from registration of the iGateway. In the future, Smarthome Connect will be available for a nominal monthly fee and offer enhanced features such as timers, email/SMS alerts, camera support and more.
