IRLinc INSTEON IR Receiver allows you to control your lights from the comfort of your couch. Keep the universal remote you have, set up an extra function button to a compatible IR code and you're ready to go! Set up "Movie Scene" to dim your sconces and turn off the kitchen light while settling in for a Friday night flick. Need more popcorn? Press the intermission button to brighten the sconces and turn on the kitchen light: No more fumbling around for light switches in the dark.

Easy to Set Up
IRLinc is compatible with IR codes found in most universal remotes, which nearly guarantees your remote will work with it. IRLinc's talk-back LED allows you to identify easily which IR codes are compatible. After programming a compatible IR code into your remote, IRLinc is easy to set up like other Smarthome-brand INSTEON products, using simple Plug-n-Tap setup.
X10 Compatible
IRLinc is fully INSTEON compatible and X10 ready. Homeowners with existing X10 networks can easily migrate to an INSTEON network without having to discard all their existing X10 devices. X10 ready means that IRLinc can control X10 devices, using X10 commands. Please note that IRLinc can control either X10 devices or INSTEON devices, but not both for any given IR command sent from your universal remote.
Non-Volatile Memory
All IRLinc settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are not lost during power failures.

Credit Card Remote
The IRLinc now ships with the credit card remote. The credit card remote is small enough to be taken with you anywhere you go in your home. With the credit card remote you can control 12 scenes - 8 On / Off button pairs, 4 scene activation buttons and all on / off. You can easily set up scenes with add/remove buttons. The credit card remote does not support X10.
