    Easy Installation
    You don't need to be an electrician to install your INSTEON KeypadLinc in the Keypad Tabletop Enclosure. Simply follow the included quick-start guide to connect each wire on your KeypadLinc to the corresponding wire on the included power cord. Wire nuts are included for ease of use. Plug the Keypad Tabletop Enclosure into any non-switched outlet. You'll be able to link the individual keypad buttons to lights or groups of lights in your home for remote control of lights and scenes at the press of a button. Once configured, this portable controller can be unplugged and moved anywhere in your home without losing its programming.

    KeypadLincs & Keypad Tabletop Enclosures Available as Kits
    If you don't have a KeypadLinc ready to install in your Keypad Tabletop Enclosure, you can purchase a kit that includes a KeypadLinc along with the enclosure for your convenience. For the ultimate in personalization and convenience, order the INSTEON KeypadLinc Tabletop Controller (ships pre-assembled) with a set of six or eight custom-etched buttons.

    The Keypad Tabletop Enclosure is also available in black.

    Nice box. Could have a double headed three wire cord. Can control a load but need a 2nd cord. I made a 3 wire with two plugs near the wall. Also its VERY white and fairly large. Should have just gone with remote except it gets lost and I was trying to do control and load in the same package.

    I bought these three items to learn more about the Insteon system. I have an X 10 system I'm converting to Insteon. I have done nothing with these at this time. I see nothing about a star rating on my screen.

    This KeypadLinc Dimmer Insteon 6 button Scene Control KeyPad fits and works well in this Enclosure. With the power cord portable and I can plug into any spare outlet to control any Insteon Switch.

    These enclosures are perfect. I use them on the nightstands to control the lamps. They are much easier to find by feel in the dark without fumbling for a lamp switch. Furthermore, one doesn't irreversibly switch off a lamp that will be triggered later on by a timer.

    Overall pleased with product. Might be nice if power cord had a ground (wire). i.e. 2 conductors plus ground. I had in mind to mount my keypad timer, but it would be a tight fit.

    Very nice quality, I'd give it 5 stars but when you install the countdown timer you cannot dim the display for some reason even though the same displays are dimmable when mounted in the wall.

    White housing has black foam feet that left black circular marks on my Bose AM15 subwoofer. I have not been able to remove the marks. Also, pulling on the cord pulls the strain relief right out of the housing. For $18, I think this could be better.
