If you use a KeypadLinc to control and dim lights and groups of lights in your home, you can replace its included elegant white buttons with clear buttons, which allow you to print your own labels for linked lights and scenes. This complete set of clear buttons includes two large and eight small buttons, so you'll have enough to personalize your KeypadLinc whether you set it up in the 6-button or 8-button configuration.

    I mentioned in my review of the keypadlinc that these should be standard with that since the lettered buttons are useless. You might remember what button D does but anyone else would have no idea. Also this kit isn't easily found - not listed right with the keypadlinc.

    It did not have the frame for an 8 button included. I was replacing a X10 unit so used that frame. I still prefer these over the way it comes now. One should be able to order either way.

    I have played with the templates that are on the SmartHome website. They really take all the guesswork out of the mix! This makes updating the buttons of my KeypadLinc so much easier! Now other people in the house will know what the buttons do. They don't have to say- A, B, C and D. They can say "Porch", "Outside Lights", "Movie Time" or whatever I want and I can change them however often I like!

    I wish these were a part of every keypad purchase, or at least an option given the customer; scene A, B, C, and D are meaningless, though the laser buttons do look much neater. There should be a stock of a dozen or so most-requested lasered buttons from which to choose, which would bring down the cost. ***SMARTHOME RESPONSE: Thanks for your review!
