    More Info

    These paddles maintain the high quality of the originals that come with the SwitchLincs, offering the natural feel of high-end switches. Just tap the top to turn lights on; tap the bottom to turn lights off. Double-tapping the top brings the light to full on quickly, while a double tap of the bottom turns lights off quickly. You'll also love the crisp, tactile response with each touch, instead of the mushy feeling of other brands.

    An elegant brightness bar of 8 LEDs indicates the current brightness of the lights being controlled. This can be exceptionally helpful when it is difficult to see the light being controlled (e.g. outside or behind closed doors). The LEDs come in a beautiful, bright white, but a SwitchLinc Light Pipe Kit is also available with four replacement colors: red, blue, amber, and green. Frosted white, red, blue pipes are also available in 8-pair packs. Please note that these light pipes are compatible only with INSTEON SwitchLinc line of products.

    The SwitchLinc Color Change Kit is also available in Black, Almond, Light Almond, Brown, Gray and White. The required wall plates are sold separately and are available in an array of colors.

    What can I say? They're Ivory paddles. The instructions on how to change out the paddles are very clear. I think there is a video on Smarthome's web site too. It is easy to change out. Note the screws are very small but Smarthome includes extras with the paddle kit in case you lose one (or more). So far I haven't lost any. LOL I'd love to see a change kit that gives the look of the old fashioned push button switches.

    Good as far as it goes, but designed for a dimmer. This means there are a bunch of holes that light from the status LED leaks through -- an insert blocking those holes would be a really good idea

    Although the kits are easy to put on, I have found that they have a tendency to push too far into the button whole causing the switch to be held open or closed. i have had to be very carefull how tightly i screwed them in and in somecases had to use small shims to keep the distance correct.
