Expand your X10 system to include one-touch and programmed remote control of all your low-voltage appliances and devices. The easy-to-use, simple-to-install, latched 8-Channel 5-Amp X10 Relay Control Unit lets you switch multiple sets of devices with one self-contained unit. Designed for use with devices that require contact-closure switching, this 8-Channel 5-Amp X10 Relay Control Unit works like an X10 Universal Module, but it gives you independent control of eight devices, instead of just one. The 8-Channel 5-Amp X10 Relay Control Unit includes a power supply and connecting cable to the included X10 TW523 2-Way Interface Module.

You can use the 8-Channel 5-Amp X10 Relay Control Unit to control electric sprinkler valves, electric door strikes, thermostats, HVAC dampers, electronic ignition fireplaces and more. The X10 relay controller responds to standard X10 ON/OFF commands to control eight independent DPDT relays. These latched units also respond to X10 ALL UNITS OFF commands.
Each double pole/double throw relay has two independent sets of double-throw, open common contacts that switch an input between two outputs, so ON and OFF signals can either close or open contacts, depending on your needs. Channels are rated at 2 amps, 30VAC/DC or 125VAC.
The eight-relay controller can be set to any house code and addresses 1 through 8 or 9 through 16. Please note that the relays do not maintain their latching in the event of a power outage. The 8-Channel 5-Amp X10 Relay Control Unit connects to the interface module via the included 4-wire reversing modular phone cable.
Depending on the devices to be connected, you may choose to change the relay operating mode to either of two types of pulse outputs with adjustable pulse times. The relays can be programmed as a group or individually set to their own configurations.
