This universal powerline bus (UPB) starter kit includes two plug-in lamp modules and an I/O module to help you control your lights in ways more convenient than what was originally designed by the electrician who wired your home. Connect the lamp modules to the desired lamps. Then, wire the I/O module directly to your security panel, allowing the lamps to react based on commands sent or statuses reported from the security panel. Each module is already pre-configured to the I/O module so you won't need a computer or spend unnecessary time programming the devices to one another.

Based on how the I/O module is wired, you can turn one or both lamps on or blink both lamps when it receives the signal from the security panel. The lamps can perform the programmed actions for delayed entry/exit, arm/disarm acknowledgement, door strike, or motion sensor interfaces.
