Essential Info
One of the nicest features of automated lighting is the wide range of control options. Whether you use INSTEON, X10, or UPB to control your lighting and appliances, you can adjust them remotely using wall-mounted switches and keypads or tabletop controllers. If you prefer the placement flexibility of a tabletop controller and the compact appearance of a wall-mounted keypad, you can now combine these features using the Tabletop Back Box, which converts any standard-size switch or keypad into a remote control that can be plugged in anywhere in your home. NOTE: The INSTEON, X10 or UPB keypads are sold separately.

Easy InstallationSimply install your selected keypad into the Tabletop Back Box by connecting each wire to the corresponding wire on the included power cord, according to the included instructions. Wire nuts are included for ease of use. Plug the Tabletop Back Box into any duplex outlet. You'll be able to link the individual keypad buttons to lights or groups of lights in your home for remote control of lights and scenes at the press of a button. Once configured, this portable controller can be unplugged and moved anywhere in your home without losing its programming.
Custom Keypad Buttons Available for INSTEON KeypadLincFor a truly elegant appearance, your can replace the standard buttons included on the INSTEON KeypadLinc with laser-etched buttons personalized with your designated descriptions. Choose the set of 4 small, 2 large buttons for 6-button configurations or 8 small buttons for 8-button configurations.
The Tabletop Back Box is also available in black.
