The SimplyBrilliant™ UPB controller line provides ultra-reliable control of new and existing lighting fixtures, lamps, fans and other electrical devices using your existing wiring to control virtually any light in your home. This eight-button keypad provides on/off and dimming control for incandescent lighting, magnetic low-voltage lighting and halogen lighting. Best of all, all faceplates are sold separately and are interchangeable in the field without ever having to untwist a wire nut, so once this base is installed, you'll easily be able to install or change out any faceplate in seconds. A Decora-style wall plate is sold separately.

The In-Wall UPB 8-Button Dimmer offers 200 dimming steps for up to 8 incandescent, magnetic low-voltage, or halogen lights for attractive ambience as well as the flexibility you deserve. The first button wires into the connected load; programming the additional buttons is simple using the included instructions.
The In-Wall UPB 8-Button Dimmer is also available with thin-bar buttons. Additional faceplate styles are also available. If you're just getting started with automating your lights and appliances, a UPB starter kit is available and sold separately.
Mount this keypad in a Tabletop Back Box, and you'll be able to plug it into any indoor outlet for portable remote control of connected lights and appliances.
UPB technology delivers exceptional reliability and noise immunity at a much lower installed cost when compared to hardwired and RF solutions, and you'll experience no interference from adjacent homes. UPB technology is not X10 compatible.
