    So far so good. After numerous promised ship dates, it took more than 3 months to receive due to a "redesign". Won't know if it was worth it now until this winter now.

    After some extensive beta testing and upgrades, the hub is working pretty well. Still not a robust scheduling device, but great for simple scenes and smart phone access.

    I think they got it right! Had to return an earlier wersion which had ios stutters. This new version is easy to set up and use, especially for those with prior Insteon experience. Connected an IP cam to the Hub (simple) and works great! However, with 3G, the response times are woeful (tilt / pan). Hopefully my carrier will soon have 4G in my area (S%^*@t). Thanks for the hard work folks! Using Android 4.x.x

    The original Hub had a weak signal and could turn things on but not off because of noise in the lines. However, they've taken care of this problem and a number of bugs in the app. I'm pretty thrilled with it now.

    Works as advertised. A bit slow on synchronizing. It sometimes has taken several hours or overnight to sort things out, but once synchronized all scenes and switches work well.

    It's not ready for prime time. In this day and age of connected products that offer great user experience, this is not one of them. The Insteon Hub has a VERY basic application for the iPhone looks like it was the rough draft to get started. The hub itself doesn't stay connected and is not accessible from the internet (in my experience). Overall - it's not ready. I may revisit in a year to see how Smarthome has done with it, but for now - buyer beware.

    The idea of the product is great but there are many bugs. Overall i like the product is adequate but they need to fix software. The scheduling feature still does not work correctly even though they sent out a release saying they fixed it.

    Great v1 of a new product. The iPhone app is solid, and it's clear there will continue to be further development over time to make it even more effective. The product functions well, and did not take long to set up.

    Works pretty good with my android on 3g. There are a couple issues though. Sometimes it has trouble finding the hub and other times it locks up the phone and have to restart phone.

    Doesn't work, messed up the "compatible" camera.Took forever to set-up and never would connect. Had to watch videos every time something didn't setup correctly and couldn't skip them. Do not buy this until the bugs are worked out. Plenty of other products that do more and work out of the box.

    so far junk doesn't work again out side my own WiFi system,on & off indicator gets mixed up,does not work at all with X10,the new leak sensor does not work at all with the hub,have not bothered to program any events yet ,they probably won't work right eather.

    They have quite a bit of work to do before this is something I could recommend. Although they have a generous return policy I plan to keep mine as Insteon appears to be committed to providing incremental improvements to this product. In the short time I've had mine two refreshes of the Android app. have brought many improvements. My current complaints are that the connection through the cloud is "iffy" and the lack of a good web interface (or any for that matter) hampers its usefulness.

    I rated it as a 3-star, but its more like a 2.5 and I generously rounded up. Basic features of the Hub work as advertised. HOWEVER, 1) Although most features are fairly intuitive; We NEED MORE than the "Quick Start Guide" for an operating manual. The website is fairly worthless; it's nothing more than an advertisement for the unit. A manual would raise my rating to a 3.5. 2) some features are clearly "in works", because when you try to access them, you get a message implying that the feature is a future capability.

    This device is not "plug-and-play" as implied by the description. My network didn't recognize the unit and after two calls to technical support, I gave up (technical support personnel did not appear to have much, if any, working knowledge of the unit and how to troubleshoot it other than rebooting the system. Good concept, but (to me), not ready for prime time.

    Operating the Hub from my phone is great however, still cannot schedule and program scenes SmartHome has informed me the app is being updated to address a bunch of issues but still waiting after a month after purchase.
