The Four-Outlet Plug-in Surge Protector with 360-Degree Rotating Receptacles is a non-traditional surge protector that can accommodate up to four regular or oversized plugs and AC adapters. For advanced surge protection, there are two indicator lights present on the front of the adapter. A red light is illuminated to indicate the surge protection is working correctly and a green light is illuminated to indicate the electricity is properly grounded.
Surge Protection
The energy absorption/dissipations rating, given in joules, tells you how much energy the surge protector can absorb before it fails. A higher number indicates greater protection. Look for a protector that is at least rated at 200 to 400 joules. The Four-Outlet Plug-in Surge Protector with 360-Degree Rotating Receptacles is rated at 540 joules. Additionally, the Patented X3 Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV), provide advanced surge protection for stronger resistance to heat.
