Turn your lights on and off remotely, dim them, and even create entire lighting scenes with this plug-in lamp module. The UPB Lamp Module can be controlled remotely using a UPB 6-Button Wall Controller or a UPB Wall-Switch Dimmer (both sold separately).

The UPB Lamp Module plugs into your wall, but you won't lose an outlet: The lamp to be controlled plugs into the bottom of the module, but a pass-through outlet is included as well, for a non-controlled appliance or lamp.
The UPB Lamp Module uses Universal Powerline Bus technology for superior performance and reliability. Similar to the standard X10 protocol, Universal Powerline Bus technology uses your existing power wires, so no rewiring is necessary in order to use this switch. But UPB benefits include its higher reliability, since its signal strength is stronger than X10, with increased electrical noise resistance.
Sold separately, the UPB RS232 PC Interface Module converts serial signals to UPB powerline signals to control your UPB modules from your computer.
Please note: UPB products are NOT X10 compatible
