These designer-style switches offer you a simple solution for taking automated remote and local control over wired-in light fixtures controlled by two or more switches. They're perfect for stairways with light switches at the top and bottom of the stairs, hallways with switches at either end of the hall, and any indoor or outdoor light fixtures that have multiple switches.

The 500W Dimmer Switch comes ready for three or four-way circuits. A 3-way circuit requires one Dimmer Switch and one multi-way companion switch. A 4-way circuit requires one Dimmer Switch and two multi-way companion switches, etc. For single pole applications, just cap off the red traveler wire (no multi-way companion switch is needed for single-pole applications).
The 500W Dimmer Switch responds to ALL LIGHTS ON and ALL UNITS OFF commands.
These switches can only be used with incandescent lights with a minimum load of 60 watts and a maximum load of 500 watts. Multi-way companion switches include interchangeable white/ivory paddle switch covers. Trim plate not included.
Important note: Please note that you must use the HomePro Multi-Way Companion Switch. Existing 3- or 4-way mechanical switches will damage the dimmer.
