I was told this item would control fans. It did not.

Very durable and responsive

Pretty good. The switch itself isn't as solid feeling as I'd like, but it works well. The. Dimming is too slow for my taste and I don't think you can change the rate on this one. Other than that, it integrated into my lighting set up very easily.

Easy to install, reliable. Love the slow-on function.

The product met my expectations and arrived in a timely manner.

Some may not like the feature that this light goes back to whatever level it was last dimmed to, but this has a lot of advantages if one gets up to go to the bathroom at night and doesn't want to get bright lights. Product works well, and is a good value for price. Other brands are a lot cheaper, and last only a couple of months, in my experience.

I have used this X10 compatible switch before. Very reliable and easy to set up.

"Resume dim" X-10 switches fail sooner than regular X-10 switches. I hope the Leviton product I've just bought is more reliable than the resume-dim switches I've bought from you in the past. I have no trouble with the regular X-10 paddle switches. The "resume dim" paddle switches fail after a little more than a year. The failure is at the paddle, not the X-10 feature. They still operate from the remote; they just can't be turned on or off at the wall.

Will install this one this weekend. I like it better that the one it replaces. If it works like the 2040, it will be great. The old one did not have the dials, and kept "forgetting" its code.
