Now you can have automated control of any wired-in light, complete with local dimming. Simply replace your existing wall switch with this Leviton Dimmer Switch (it takes about five minutes), and you'll have the power to turn the light on and off, plus dim it to any level, right at the switch or from any X10 transmitter. To dim the light, just press and hold the switch until the light dims to the level you desire.

Ideal for controlling bedroom, living room and family room ceiling light fixtures, table lamps or just about any switched outdoor lighting fixture. This switch gives you the power to turn lights on and off, plus dim them to any level, at the switch or remotely from any X10 transmitter. To dim the light, just press and hold the switch until the light dims to the level you desire.
This switch also has a unique Soft Start feature that gently fades lights on over a 2-second span. In addition to being a very pleasant effect, it considerably extends the life of your bulbs. There's even a Resume Dim feature, which returns the light to the dim level it, was set to before the light was turned off.
The switch also boasts Leviton's Intellisense® AGC (Automatic Gain Control) for enhanced response to X10 signals. AGC adjusts receiver sensitivity to help eliminate noise interference and improve the performance of your X10 system.
Installation is a snap, too. There are only two wires connect, so you can automate any or all of your wall switch-controlled lights in minutes. X10-compatible 2-wire dimmer switches can only be used with incandescent lights. You will need special switches for control of fluorescent lights and 3-Way Circuits (a light controlled by more than one switch).
