If you have established a Z-Wave network in your home, you already appreciate the advantages provided by this two-way digital wireless communication network that lets you control lights and appliances without using your powerlines. Now you can control your Z-Wave RF devices using your computer and appropriate software with the HomePro RF RS232 Interface. This interface connects to your computer through any RS232 port and sends wireless signals to your Z-Wave enabled devices up to 100 feet away. All Z-Wave devices to be controlled require lamp or appliance modules, sold separately.

Setting up the HomePro RF RS232 Interface is simple. Just connect it to any RS232 port on your computer and connect the included power supply. Insert a CD with RS232 drivers and third-part software such as HomeSeer Automation Software (sold separately) and follow the instructions on the screen. Using the software, you'll be able to turn lights and appliances on and off or schedule them to do so at specific times.
HomePro wireless radio frequency products utilize Z-Wave technology to communicate and interoperate, and they are compatible with other Z-Wave-enabled products. These devices are not X10 compatible.
The HomePro RF RS232 Interface features nonskid feet for horizontal surfaces; keyhole slots on the back allow it to be hung on a vertical surface as well.
