SAVANT Occupancy Sensors are an excellent choice when choosing energy-efficient and money-saving, automatic lighting or appliance controls. These sensors use the most advanced passive infrared (PIR) technology for detecting the heat emitted from moving bodies as they cross the sensor's field of view. Great for commonly used areas, such as workshops, bathrooms, closets, and hallways, this occupancy sensor will make sure lights are never left on by accident. When the sensor determines the absence of motion for the specified amount of time, it will automatically switch the connected light off. The light’s On function can be manually or automatically controlled with its Auto-On/Auto-Off or Manual-On/Auto-Off modes. A LED nightlight is built into the switch and can be turned on/off or dimmed to suit the user’s needs. This occupancy switch can be used in single pole (single location switching) applications or 3-way circuits and handles loads up to 1,000 Watts or 1/2HP. Compatible with the most common load types, this switch can be used for incandescent, fluorescent, magnetic low-voltage, electronic low-voltage, CFL, or LED lighting, as well as appliances such as ceiling fans. This product is also available in almond, black, gray, ivory, and light almond, each sold separately.
